Anytime Paco Robles appears in a Lexxi James book it makes me happy. Although his role is small in Fallen, it's pivotal. Kathryn Chase has pretty much seen it all and left it on the table. Her last deployment as an army nurse almost ripped her insides out. Now her rather mundane life needs something and it just may be a Dom. Jake Russo lives an almost reclusive existence. He barely made it out of his last deployment and is riddled with angst and guilt because of it. He gave up BDSM because an angry Dom is dangerous and yet here he is taking on the woman he's watch from afar for years. As he and Kathryn explore D/s they're also working on who's coming after her. As the threat is narrowed down these two become closer but not until complete honesty prevails. A rift comes from her misreading someone else instead of trusting the man she loves. Never fear though, there is an HEA.

Really enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend that you read it too. Love when a book leaves you wanting to know more. Looking forward to reading more by Lexi James.

Fantastic book, couldn't put it down.

The story is great, hot with a little mystery to keep you from putting it down. Just when you think you have it all figured out then another twist. Totally ready for Led it's next book.

Great Read

Such a beautiful story of 2 people meeting in war and falling in love several years later on a surprise meeting. Great characters and storyline. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Gripping story all the way

A great adventure with many twists along the way. Very believable situations. Will look for more books but Lexxi James.

Not you typical military/mystery/bdsm story

Really good read, lots going on, but centralized so easy to follow. Hot bedroom scenes with twists, turns, and suspicions.
